lifting the veil off the shy squirrely electron
trapping light in magnetic quicksand
torturing those tiny photons for observations
deftly wiring atomic transistors
mustering up quarks to color the void
wielding nanotubes and dye lasers and aerogels
cleansing their hands of grease and chemicals and sweat
touring the facility before
kneeling before the Gadget
